Girl Scout Cookies!!

Growing up as a Girl Scout I learned many things. Although I don’t remember most of them, I know it shaped me into who I am today. Every time I see young girls selling cookies outside the grocery store I can’t help but think of my years peddling cookies to my neighbors, teachers and my father’s employees (everyone has to buy a box from the boss’ daughter).

Now that it is coming upon cookie season again I wanted to show you how to incorporate cookies into your next wedding or event. Candy buffets have been hot for awhile now. It’s time to up the ante and bring in the milk and cookies… GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!

Set up a table with cookies jars and adorable signs displaying the name if the cookies. The most popular are Thin Mints and Samoas so buy a few extra boxes of those.

Not only will your guests love you for offering a yummy treat that differs from the same old candy bar, you will be helping young girls excel. Each box of cookies gives back in many different ways from teaching girls to manage money, support the troops or fund inner city camps.
