Vintage Valentine’s Party

Not sure what to do this Valentine’s Day… Host a Valentine’s party for your friends. Use this quick and easy tablescape to help you get your guests in the loving Valentine’s mood.

Use a backdrop that you already have. Here we have used a collection of art by A.S.V.P. and the again with a window covered by sheer white curtains.

Create your own confetti with pieces of curling ribbon, flower petals and pipe cleaners folded into hearts.

Add flowers in Valentine’s Day colors to the table. We lined gift bags with plastic and then added the flowers. This is a great way to have your decorations double as party favors. Simply pull up the handles when the party is over and send them home with guests.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t only have to be about sweets. Use cute heart shaped bowls to add some fruit to your options. Berries and mini apples will keep the Valentine’s color scheme and add some nutritional food options.

Add vintage Valentine’s Day cards to a metallic ribbon to create a festive backdrop. These are so cute to look at and fun to give to friends. Have each guests choose a vintage Valentine to give to someone at the party.
