6 Tips on How To Pack for Holiday Travel WHILE Staying Digitally Organized
1. ROLL – Don’t Stack.
This tip 1s straight from my personal travel playbook: rolling your clothes in a carry-on saves way more space than stacking or folding. You also get fewer wrinkles.
Bonus Tip: Bring less than you think you need — because you won’t wear it all. I promise.

2. The Mom Hack: Bagged Outfits for Kids
This is not my tip but from one of my favorite Mom’s, Amy Boland Hauser, and it is Pre-pack outfits in labeled
Ziploc bags. One bag = one day = one decision made. This saves time, avoids tantrums, and keeps your hotel room from looking like a tornado hit.

3. Color-Theme Packing
Stick to one color palette for your clothing. Choose a base (black, navy, tan, etc.) and build around it. You’ll minimize the number of shoes, accessories, and decision fatigue — and still look sharp.
4. Laundry Hack On-the-Go
Bring a small collapsible bag to use as a travel laundry hamper.
Throw in a few laundry pods sealed in a ziplock (yes, TSA-compliant). If something spills or your kid has an accident, you’re ready to do a load —without buying $30 detergent at a resort.

5. Pre-Packed Toiletry Kit
Keep a dedicated toiletry kit always packed with your essentials – so you never forget a toothbrush, razor, or moisturizer.
Only last-minute task? Refill your prescriptions.
Everything else should be grab-and-go.
6. Your Essentials Stay with YOU
Pack a small personal tote or carry-on with your non-negotiables:
- Journal
- Headphones
- Skincare
- Supplements
- Passport
- A calming item (book, lavender spray, gum)

This is your peace pocket — especially useful when traveling with kids or on long delays.

7. Be Digitally Organized
Make sure you’re a tad ahead of the digital organizing game. Slim down to the new OCD MagSafe Wallet to only carry physcially what you need and also have your driver’s license, passport, and boarding pass saved and accessible digitally. Enable Face ID or fingerprint access on your phone for effortless transitions through airport checkpoints. It’s all about minimizing stress and maximizing flow.
Have a safe and happy holiday with effortless and efficient travel ahead.
Peace and love!
